Town house. Mid C19. Incised stucco on probably studwork with
plinth and mid-floor band; bitumen-grouted rag slate roof,
hipped on the right, with projecting eaves; brick stack on the
right. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; nearly symmetrical
3-window front. Late C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes to 1st
floor, 4-pane horned sashes to ground floor; central
pilastered doorway with moulded hood cornice, overlight and
4-panel door. Doorway on the right with pilasters, consoles
and moulded hood belongs with No.2 Fore Street (qv). INTERIOR:
not inspected but likely to be of interest.
