The photograph (scanned) was taken around 1930 by Carmen Reuben, a singer studying in England. The inscription on the back reads:
"Round House"-- / Wiston Old Rectory. / Steyning - Sussex.
Pupils listening to a lesson.

"Steyning" is a questionable transcription.
