GV II

Two dwellings built as one, probably in C16 or C17. Probably 3-cell lobby entrance
plan; extended to left and with set forward wing to left of uncertain date. 2
storeys. Timber-framed and roughcast. Plain tiled roofs; an axial chimney, the
shaft partly roughcast and partly rebuilt in C19 red brick. Two end chimneys, one
to right and the other at front gable. Mainly C19 small-pane casements. A C20
glazed flat-roofed porch at lobby-entrance position. Interior partly examined;
framing almost entirely concealed; included for group value.
