House, c1600. 2 storeys and attics. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed
and roughcast. Pantiled roof with axial chimney of roughcast brick. C18 3-light
casements with transomes. C18 doorway at lobby entrance position: 6-panelled door,
the upper panels glazed and the lower fielded; architrave and pediment with pulvin-
ated cornice. Framing fully exposed at ground storey: first floor joists laid
flat with slight chamfer, a girth has ovolo-moulding and dentilling. Back-to-back
lintelled open fireplaces in hall and parlour: the parlour fireplace has a reused
early C16 lintel with fine but damaged carving: vinescroll with a central shield,
embattling and cresting.
