Farmhouse, now rest home. Early C19 with mid-C20 alterations. Finely jointed
brick with limestone ashlar dressings; slate roof behind parapet with brick end
stacks. Three storeys. Three bays with rusticated end quoins. Windows have
rusticated ashlar lintels and moulded keyblocks. There are 16-pane sashes in
the outer bays of the ground and first floor, a central first floor 12-pane sash,
square 12-pane sashes in the outer bays of the second floor and a central second
floor 9-pane sash. The central entrance has an open pediment, paterae reliefs in
the dosseret, pilasters and a 6-panelled door with a traceried fanlight. There
are two rear two-storey wings.
