House. Probably late C17 to early C18, with later alterations. Timber-
frame with plaster, brick and sandstone rubble infill. Sandstone slate
roof and large central sandstone stack with three brick shafts. T-plan
with main range aligned roughly east/west and central wing projecting north-
wards. Two storeys: South elevation has two windows, 2-light leaded mid-C20
casements. Ground floor has two square C20 bottom hinged vents to left,
contemporary French casement to left of centre and 3-light casement to right-
hand side. Frame is three panels high from cill to wall-plate. North elevation
has large gable to projecting wing. To the right is a small gable with curved
angle struts from tie to principals. Interior noted as having heavy ceiling
beams.
