Farmhouse. Early C19 with C17 rear wing. Red brick, sandstone plinth,
hipped concrete tiled roof, timber-framed rear wing with brick infill.
Single depth plan with central entrance and end stacks, aligned east/west
facing south. C17 wing extends to north (rear), further later lean-to
additions to east and west. Two storeys, attic and cellar, string course
and dentilled eaves cornice; central slightly forward break with pediment.
1:1:1 windows, now C20 aluminium sash windows to first floor with cambered
brick heads and pronounced scrolled keystones, circular window with radiating
glazing bars in tympanum of pediment. 2-light casement windows in enlarged
openings flank later gabled porch to ground floor, half-glazed door. Frag-
mentary framing of rear wing revealed in upper part of walls and rear gable,
largely refaced with brick, formerly three panels from sill to wall-plate,
three struts to collar and V-struts in gable.
