2 houses. After 1849. Possibly by George Webster. Roughcast stone with
rock-faced stone dressings and slate roof. Balanced semi-detached pair.
2 storeys, 4 bays. Stone base and quoins. Windows have stone lintels and
2-light casements with iron glazing bars in octagon and square pattern common to
the Holker estate. Windows to 1st floor have gablets with decorative barge
boards and finials. Porches have board doors and overlights, open timber gabled
porches with finials and lattice-work sides. Gable-end stacks and cross-axial
stack. Returns have decorative barge boards, casements as above and sashed
windows with single glazing bars and horns. Rear has 2 wings with sashed
windows.
