Lodge and gate piers. Probably early C19. Possibly by George Webster.
Roughcast stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. One storey, north
elevation of 2 bays. Coped gables, that to east with finial. Windows have
splayed reveals and label moulds; cross-casements with iron glazing bars in
octagon and square pattern common to Holker estate. Entrance has splayed
reveals and label mould, panelled door. East gable end has window as to north.
Rear wing of 3 bays has small-paned casements and entrance. Low wall to north
connects lodge with round rusticated gatepiers with domed caps, railings
replaced by timber palings.
