Row of 4 houses. c.1826. Built with Home Park Mill (not listed) by
John Dickinson for accommodation of workers in paper production.
Rendered flint and red brick. Half hipped tiled roof. 2 storeys and
attic. 4 window front. 2 entrances to centre. Ground floor 16 pane and
first floor 9 pane sashes, all recessed with segmental heads. Dentilled
brick eaves. 2 hipped dormers with horizontal sliding sashes over inner
windows. 2 ridge stacks with oversailing courses. Entrances in returns.
Small sashes in red brick attics. 1 storey additions at ends set back,
and to rear, fenestration to rear as at front. Interior not inspected.
This row forms part of a planned group, symmetrically arranged 2:4:4:2,
Nos. 1, 2 and 7-12 Home Park Cottages (q.q.v.). W. Branch Johnson,
