Three houses, now two commercial properties. C18 or earlier frontage range, subdivided as shop and two houses in mid C19 and linked to late C18 block of houses in rear yard. Group made two properties in C20. Timber frames roughcast with dark weatherboarding to lower part of north walls facing Little Lane, and red brick casing to west front and south end of street range. Slate roofs, street range hipped.

A two-storey, three-cell, L-shaped building facing west with a long rear range backing onto Little Lane on north. Large central chimney a third from north end and formerly a south gable chimney. C19 west front has three pairs of upper openings (one blank and one sash window originally to each house and a door and a window each on ground floor) Original arrangement remains at No 70. 4 sash
windows to No 68 with C20 shop window to Ground floor. C18 flush
2-light casements at rear, one with leaded glazing and iron
casement. Low 2-storeys, slated roughcast link with C19 casement
windows and plank door. Rear wing 2 storeys in 2 sections, 2
late C18 houses. Each with 2 windows to each floor and central
door. LH house has Yorkshire sliding casement windows and 4
panel flush beaded door. Doors have flat hoods on shaped
brackets. Included for group value.
