House, now a house and a shop. C17 or early C18. Timber frame
on low stucco sill, roughcast with steep old red tile roof and
slated eaves course. A 2-storeys, 3-cells house facing W with
central chimney a third from N end, and a S gable chimney behind
the ridge. Near symmetrical 3 windows long front with boxed
eaves on shaped brackets, 2-and 3-light flush C19 casement upper
windows with moulded surrounds. Main door under central 2-light
window, shop door at N end of front. Flush-box sash window to
right of central door has 8/8 panes and a hood mould. Small-
paned shop window to left of similar proportion. Long 2-storeys
rear wing at NE tiled and weatherboarded over painted brick with
C19 2-light flush casement windows. Included for group value.
