House. Early C18 or earlier, with later alterations. Red brick
chequered with black headers on front (S) and N end, but
plastered elsewhere. Steep old red tile roofs. A 2-cell, 2-
storeys, end chimney plan house with one and a half storeys part
at S with lateral front wall chimney. Rear outshot under
catslide roof. C20 dormer raised off rear roof slope.
Assymetrical front with 2 windows on each floor and door off-
centre to left. C20 casement windows with horizontal emphasis in
old openings with closer bricks next the jambs. Stepped
corbelled kneelers to brick gable parapet at N end. Internal N
gable chimney. Later external S gable chimney rising in lower S
wing. C19 wall letterbox with 'VR' built into pier at SE corner
of house.
