Farmhouse. c1789, with later alterations. Brown brick in Flemish bond,
Welsh slate roof. T-shaped on plan: 2-room, central entrance-hall south
front with 2-room rear wing. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. Doorcase with
consoles carrying moulded cornice and hood. 6-fielded-panel door with
moulded lintel and plain overlight in reveal. C20 plate-glass windows in
original openings with sills and rubbed-brick flat arches with projecting
ashlar keystones. Stepped and cogged brick eaves cornice. Corniced end
stacks. Rear wing has 12-pane sliding and hung flush sashes, attic hatch
and dentilled eaves cornice. Nearby contemporary threshing barn (qv) dated
to 1789. Interior not investigated. Empty and disused at time of resurvey.
