House. Later C17, N bay later. Timber frame on red brick plinth, white
weatherboarded with a steep thatched roof. Single storey and attics
house facing E with S gable to road. A 3-cells, central chimney plan
with heated room in middle and added room at N. S gable entrance and
windows to S room with staircase. 2 light flush casement windows with
small panes, one to each floor at S end, upper one cast iron casement
and 3 more along E side plus 2 wooden casements. 2 eyebrow dormers on E
with cast iron casements, and plank door under gabled tiled hood.
Separate door next corner into N end. Interior has axial beams and wide
fireplace. Thin timber where exposed. (Bailey (1980)19).
