House. sometime a manse. C18, C20 rear lean-to extension and gabled
porch. Timber frame on stucco base, roughcast with half-hipped old red
tile roof. A large 2 storeys, 2 cells, internal chimney plan house of
unusual layout, facing S. One heated room on each floor, and stair
against W end wall. Entrance directly into main room. Symmetrical 3
windows front with central gabled closed porch. Flush box sash windows
with 6/6 panes and louvred shutters. Red brick rectangular chimney a
third from E end. (Bailey (1980)20).
