1898 built as the school for the Aston Union Cottage Homes and designed to
close the vista at the north end of the avenue. A domestic design in keeping
with the cottages but on a larger scale with 2 storey sandstone dressed canted
bay windows, under gables, flanking the centre with narrow flush framed windows
to both floors. Detached wings with similar fenestration, have set back single
storey links to main block - the eastern link with verandah entrance.
