C1840 narrowly detached pair of originally identical 3 bay stucco villas.
Two storey with quoin pilasters channelled ground floor, first floor sill
bands, friezes below eaves. Each has hipped slate roof with shallow boxed
eaves; stucco corniced chimneys with ornamental pots. The end bays of each
house have had 2 storey pilastered canted bay windows inserted C1860, but
otherwise retain original fenestration; ground floor windows set in
segmental arched panels with channelling struck to arches; first floor
windows in architrave surrounds. Projecting architrave surround doorways
surmounted by pediments on console brackets. Panelled reveals and soffits,
rectangular fanlights. No 18 retains 6 panel door. No 19 has decorative
late C19 frosted glass panel. Red brick flanks and rear elevations.
