Block of 2 estate houses. 1880's for Rothschild Estate probably by
William Huckvale. Similar to nos. 21, and 22. Plum brick with 1st floor
plastered to represent half-timbering, scalloped red tilehanging jettied
1st floor to porch, and steep machine-made red tile roof. A picturesque
1½ storeys block facing N with central projecting 2-storeys porch open
below and E wing set back (No. 26) and painted. 3-light and 2-light
casement windows divided. Plinth, moulded floor band, and segmental
arches to ground floor. Large projecting gable chimney.
