Block of 2 estate houses. 1880's for Rothschild Estate probably by
William Huckvale. Similar to nos. 25, and 26. Plum brick with 1st floor
plastered to represent half-timbering, scalloped red tilehanging to
jettied 1st floor to porch, and steep roof of red machine-made tiles. A
picturesque 1½ storeys block facing N with central projecting 2-storeys
porch open below and second entrance in W end under gabled timber porch.
Attic in upper part of roof with gable window. Armorial plaque on porch.
3-light and 2-light casement windows divided. Segmental arches to ground
floor, plinth and moulded projecting band below plastered upper part. 2
tall internal chimneys.
