Mid C19 house with scallop bargeboard to front gable and a row of smaller cottages on
return to south (Pasture Lane).
Two storeys rubble with wide eaves to shallow pitched slate roof. Side chimney.
Front gable accommodates an oculus with painted legend "Rose Cottage". Bands over
ground and first floors; 3 windows glazing bar sashes. Central 4 panel door with
overlight.
The 3 cottages in the return elevation of the lower extension to left have 5 windows
on 1st floor, glazing bar casements; irregular ground floor.
