Former farmhouse, now house. Late C18 and C19. Main body coursed
squared and dressed limestone, otherwise roughly coursed limestone
rubble, stone slate at front, concrete tile at rear, stone stack.
'L'-shaped plan with C19 extension rear left of main body
(incorporating walls of pre C18 single unit plan building) with
wash-house extension on gable end. Facade of main body, 2 storeys
and attic, 3-windowed, all 2-light stone-mullioned casements.
Central C20 plank door within plain rectangular surround, flat
stone canopy with moulded margin supported by consoles over. Band
between ground and first floors. Two-light stone-mullioned window
in left gable end containing one casement with leaded panes. Two
storey, 2-windowed extension at rear lit by 2-light wooden
casements and C20 door with glazing bars. Clamp with off-sets
buttress towards gable end. Gable end stacks. Flat gable end
coping. Roll-cross saddle at left gable end of main body.
Interior; small stone fireplace with 'Tudor'-arched surround and
bolection moulding set in corner of front right-hand room of main
body (possibly reused). Two open fireplaces with bressumer
beams.
