Cross shaft and cross shaft base. C14. Limestone. Pentagonal
base comprising 4 steps rising up to a pentagonal cross shaft base
into which is set a tapering hexagonal cross shaft with a cube at
its apex. Spring issues from a stone spout into two cast iron
troughs immediately below the cross.
