House. Early-mid C17 extended late C17 and C19. Limestone rubble
with dressed stone quoins; ashlar and brick stacks. Rectangular
main body with baffle entry; late C17 extension (set at a slight
angle) to the right gable end; C19 extension at rear. Two storeys
and attic. Twin-gabled (south) entrance front to main body;
extension with a matching gable (three matching gables to the
rear). Two 4-light hollow-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with
king mullions and stopped hoods to the ground floor; 3-light stone-
mullioned casements with stopped hoods above flanking a single-
light casement with stopped hood over the porch; 2-light stone-
mullioned casement with stopped hoods to the gables. Central
early plank door with strap hinges within a moulded dressed stone
surround within an early gabled stone-built porch. Three-light
flat-chamfered stone-mullioned casement to the ground and first
floors of the extension; similar 2-light casement to the attic.
Single-light casement with a wide double-chamfered dressed stone
surround to the gable end. C20 gabled porch to the C19 extension
rear right. Gable-end and axial stacks with chamfered cappings and
skirtings. Stepped coping at the right gable end.
Interior: spine beam with moulded stops to early-mid C17 range;
inglenook fireplace.
