One of a pair of cottages adjoining No 60 (q.v.). Mid C17 extended
at a slightly later date. Limestone rubble; stone slate roof;
stack restored C20 in roughly squared and dressed limestone.
Rectangular main body with later extension to the left gable end.
1 1/2 storeys and attic. South front with single forward-facing gable
(similar gable at rear) with 3-light double-chamfered stone-
mullioned casement with a stopped hood and hexagonal and diamond-
shaped panes; matching casement above blind 2-light stone-
mullioned casement with a stopped hood to the attic. C19 plank
door within a gabled latticework porch lower right with a blocked
single-light casement with a dressed stone surround above. Three-
light stone-mullioned casement with stopped hood and a relieving
arch to the ground floor; matching 2-light casement with hexagonal
and: diamond-shaped glazing bars. Former gable-end stack now
incorporated within the later extension.
