Detached house. Late C18. Brick on plinth of slag blocks, with
partially rendered quoin strips reaching not quite to eaves, stone
slate roof with stone coped verges and kneelers, brick end stacks
with moulded stone caps. Single range of 2 storeys and attic, with
single storey wing to left with clay tile roof. Two windows, twin
casements with cambered heads, 6-pane to left, narrower plain to
right. Similar on ground floor, longer to left. Two raking
dormers set wide apart with twin 6-pane casements. Later
projecting gabled brick porch with 4-panel door. Small wing to
left has plank door and twin casement under single timber lintel
immediately adjacent to main block, and probably originally
repeated further left, window and long lintel only remaining.
