2/19 The Old Vicarage
II
Former vicarage now private house, detached. Late C18/early C19.
Brick, concrete tile roof, brick end stacks. T-shape with front
range of 3 storeys, and 2-storey rear wing. Three windows, 12-pane
sashes to second floor (4 over 8) and 16-pane to first and ground
floors, each with large stone voussoirs and dropped keystone.
Brick dentils below moulded stone eaves cornice. Central doorcase
with recessed double doors each of 3 beaded panels, double X-glazed
transom light with decorative moulding along base, and moulded
architrave with panelled corners. Later segmental headed wooden
porch.
