Dovecote, being made into dwelling. C17. Squared rubble, concrete tile.
A lofty, cross-gabled free-standing building with external staircase and
with small timber cross-gabled turret; wing attached, right. 3 storeys
on plinth, one windowed : south front with 2, 3 and 3-light hollow chamfer
and rebate stone mullions and stopped drips, with at first floor, right,
plank door under 4-centred arch under stopped drip combined with window
drip but at slightly higher level, approached by 9 very worn stone steps.
East and west fronts with open oculus at first floor. Inside at ground
floor a deep bressummer fireplace and chamfered beam. Work of transfor-
mation in progress at time of survey.
