Farmhouse (q.v. Teddington Hands Signpost). C17 and C18. Early
range: square-panelled timber framing with tension bracing and
rendered infill on a coursed squared and dressed limestone plinth.
C18 range: coursed squared and dressed limestone and brick on a
limestone plinth; brick stacks; slate roof. Timber-framed range
probably formerly thatched. Rectangular C17 range and 'L'-shaped
C18 range together forming an 'L'-shaped overall plan. Early
range: 16 storeys. C18 range: 2 storeys and attic. Early range:
3-light wooden casement with horizontal glazing bars and a single-
light casement. Two large C20 slate-hung roof dormers. Six-panel
door with the two upper panels glazed lower right; C20 two-light
casement; early plank door and 2-light roof dormer to rear. C18
range with brick-built south and east-facing elevations. Two 3-
light segmental-headed casements to the south front; two similar
4-light casements to the east-facing elevation. Two 3-light wooden
casements; tall 8-light stairlight with leaded panes and a C20
glass door with glazing bars to the rear of the stone-built west
facing elevation, facing the road. Brick dentil cornice to the C18
range. Projecting gable end, gable-end and axial stacks. Interior
not inspected.
