House. C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone and brick; red
tile roof to main body; stone slate roofing otherwise; ashlar
stack. Rectangular plan with later extensions to the west gable
end. Main body 2 storeys and attic with 1 1/2-storey and single-
storey extensions. South-facing elevation: 3-light casement with
horizontal glazing bars and leaded panes to the ground floor; 3-
light casement with leaded panes to the first floor. Two-light C20
roof dormer with leaded panes. Two-light casement with leaded
panes and plank door to the 1 1/2 storey extension to the left; small
casement and plank door to the former wash-house far left.
Roadside front: two 3-light metal casements with dressed stone
lintels and keystones to the ground floor flanking a single-light
casement with dressed stone lintel. Three-light casement with
keystone to the first floor. Two narrow casements with leaded
panes to the wash-house. All casements with leaded panes.
Projecting gable-end stack, to main body with twin shafts with
moulded cappings. Similar gable end stack with moulded capping to
the later extension. Gable-end stack to wash-house. Interior
inspection revealed no features of special interest.
