churchyard of the Church of St
Nicholas c3m south of the nave

GV II

Pedestal tomb to William Tyler, died 1776. Sandstone. Raised
sandstone formerly with cast iron railing, now removed. Segmental-
ended tomb with moulded plinth. Raised rectangular inscription
panel with a finely moulded margin on the south side. Inscription
panel on the opposite side now eroded away. Urn surrounded by
foliate decoration at the west end. Capping with moulded margin
and pyramidal upper capping stone with pineapple finial.
