Detached cottage. Late Cl6-mid Cl7. Square-panelled timber-
framing with rendered and painted brick infill on a limestone
plinth; thatched roof with decoratve ridge thatching. Rectangular
plan. Rendered C20 extension not of special interest. 1½ storeys.
West front: four C20 two-light casements with heavily leaded-
diamond panes respecting the timber-framing, to the ground floor.
C20 plank door with fillets towards the left gable end; two small
dormers, one with diamond-leaded panes. The left gable end has
been clad with C20 timber framing but the base of the cruck truss
thus concealed projects out either side. East front: five C20
two-light casements with heavy diamond leading at the rear. C20
glass door with glazing bars far left.
Interior: open fireplace with bressumer beam at the former gable
end of the early range. At least two full cruck trusses, one with
a yoke visible at the apex; one arch-braced truss.
