4/113 Row of 9 medieval monuments in the
churchyard of the Church of St Pete
immediately west of the porch

GV II

Nine medieval grave slabs. Limestone. Traces of incised crosses
on the upper surface of four of the slabs. The slab at the centre
of the row has a pronounced ridge, one other has a slight ridge.
Raised crosses at the wider end of 5 of the slabs. The slabs were
found during the digging of foundations for the new nave and north
aisle during the late C19.
