Early-mid C19 house of 3 storeys, 3 windows on very important site, closing
vista of High Street. Hipped slate roof of moderately low pitch with deep,
bracketed eaves soffit. Stuccoed front. Centre windows on lst and 2nd
floor blocked. Other windows restored sashes in plain reveals. 1st floor
recesses with moulded wreaths in tympana. Modern shop front on ground
floor. Rear extensions of no importance.
Nos 34 and 36 form a group with The Red Lion Hotel College Street.
