Tomb, 1800, in Early English style. Limestone. Gabled, with three blind trefoil arches at each end, and engaged columns with moulded capitals and bases. At each side six similar arches with continuous label and foliate stops. Moulded base. Roof of overlapping stone slabs. Cross with diagonal links at west end of ridge, Latin cross (damaged) at east end. Inscription to Mary, wife of Joseph French of Little Burstead, Essex, died 1800. Length (east to west) 2.84 metres, width1.75 metres, height (estimated) 3.50 metres.
