Church. 1847. By Ignatius Bonomi. Rubble limestone with gristone dressings,
quoins, coped gables, and a stone slated roof. Narrow, aisless nave with gabled
bellcote to south west end, south west gabled porch and lower chancel with shallow
pitched lean to vestry on south east side. Simple lancets in the early English
style with quoined surrounds, those to chancel north east wall with heads linked by a
continuous hoodmould which rises above each of the three lancet heads. Clasping
buttresses to chancel gable, and stepped buttress between windows to nave north west
wall. Stepped buttress to centre of south west gable and also a stone chimney.
Interior: C20 stained glass windows commemorate various members of the Pickford
family, founders of the carrier service who lived at Kingsterndale Hall.
