Market cross. Medieval gritstone cross shaft stump, octagonal in section set in
square base and mounted on three stone steps. Cross base has C20 inscription
recording the repair of the monument to commemorate the Coronation of their
Majesties, King George VIth and Queen Elizabeth in 1937.
