House and cottages to
the south west of
Green Farmhouse

House and attached cottages. Late C18 and early C19. Roughcast rubble
limestone with gritstone, plain gables, intermediate and end ridge stone stacks,
Welsh slated roof. House part: two storeys, two bays with glazing bar sashes
set into flush stone surrounds. Heads to first floor openings are linked to
flat band course, above which is a moulded eaves cornice. Doorway to east end
with flush stone surround and rectangular overlight with glazing bars, and
plain planked door. Long catslide roof to rear offshut. Cottage part: lower
two storey range of five bays', with C18 2-light flush mullioned openings, those
to eastern three bays restored C19 and now with C20 glazing bar sashes. Plain
stone surrounds to doorway, with C20 glazed doors, and C20 pitch roofed porch to
west doorway.
