SP 80 NW LONGWICK-CUM-ILMER MEADLE

Farmhouse

Barn, part converted to studio. Mid C18. Timber frame and weatherboard
with flint and brick plinth; 2 bays to right completely of flint and brick;
short S. aisle mostly of brick with some flint at right end. Corrugated
iron roof, hipped to left, half-hipped to right. Main barn of 9 bays
with aisle to south of left half, and lower cart-shed wing of 3 bays
to rear of left bay. S. side has board door breaking through eaves of
aisle, and tall window in third bay from right. Irregular openings to
rear. Queen post and queen strut trusses, the right bays with more
substantial timbers.
