Cottage. C17 with late C19 addition. Timber framed anti
plastered; C19 gault brick. Thatched roof half hipped to north
and slate roof. Original cottage one storey and attic with
plastered brick ridge stack, later addition to south of two
storeys and two symmetrical bays with end stacks replacing the
parlour end of C17 building. Two first floor hung sash windows
with margin glazing bars and two similar ground floor windows
flanking four-panelled door with rectangular fanlight in
segmental brick arch. One horizontal sliding sash dormer window
and two ground floor horizontal sliding sash windows, C18
six-panelled door approached by steps. Tarred brick plinth.
