Cottage. 1657, renovated. Timber framed, plaster rendered and long straw
thatch, half hipped to north east end. C19 brick ridge stack. Two bays and
lobby entry plan witn narrower storage bay to north east end. One storey and
attic. Two gable dormers. Two casements on either side of doorway. Late
C20 rear extension. Inside. Abutting inglenook hearths, including one
rebuilt. Reused timber and clasped side purl in roof. Main beam in ground
floor room has the initials R.M. and date 1657 inscribed.
