Vine Cottage and Smithy Cottage

II

Handed pair of cottages, circa 1863, for the 2nd Marquis of
Westminster. Brown brick with front of Flemish bond. Grey slate
gabled roof of narrow span. Central brick chimney, stone-capped. Two
storeys. Dentillated eaves; gauged brick heads to window and door
openings; Gothick iron casements, 3-light to lower storey, 2 to upper,
with simulated bar tracery, central, and circlets to sides. Framed
and boarded doors. Interiors not inspected.
