5/64 The Manor House (No 8)

House. Circa 1830. Local gault brick with hipped, slate roof and stacks to
rear wall. L-plan. Two storeys. Symmetrical facade of five recessed twelve
pane hung sashes under flat original brick arches with raised keyblocks of
stone. Central broken pedimented doorway of engaged columns with round headed
arch to the doorway. Four panelled door. Rear walls have random brickwork,
English bond. Near is an outbuilding of brick with facade incorporating
medieval stone including cornice moulding and bosses, (this part not included
in the list).
