Cottage. Late C17, with late C18 outshut at the rear. Timber-framed, plaster rendered and pantiled roof (formerly thatched), half hipped. Rendered brick ridge stack. Three bay plan including narrower pantry bay at north east end. C18 lean-to outshut on the rear following subdivision. One storey and attic. Two cat slide dormers (one inserted C2O). Two modern ground floor bay windows on either side of lobby entry doorway. Inside: Upward bracing to wall frame and to tie beams. Close set studwork of substantial scantling. Back-to-back inglenooks. Small closet opening opposite the stack. Jowled heads to posts and continuous studs from sole to wall plate.
