Formerly farmhouse, now house: early C17 with later additions and C20
alterations. Timber-framed on stone plinth, additions in brick. Welsh
slate roof, 1 ridge and 2 gable brick chimneys. Plan of cross-passage
behind the stack. 1-storey and attic, 5-bay south front. Regular
small framing of 16 by 3 frames with passing braces. Windows are C20
casements with glazing bars, one small one in position of fire
window. 2 gabled dormers above. Simple wooden doorcase in 4th bay.
Brick outshut to rear.
Interior: entry into cross passage behind ashlar stack. Hall to left
with chamfered stone heck screen and oak bressumer. Rush-light holder
niche in inglenook. Exposed ceiling beams and timber framed walls
throughout. Queen-post trusses.
