Farmhouse, early C17, of brick-nogged small framing on brick plinth;
left gable replaced in brick; slate roof, probably formerly thatched.
2 storeys; 3 chambers. 4- and 6-pane C19 casements with iron opening
lights. Replaced boarded door. Diagonal braces at eaves. Axial
ridge chimney serving central and left bays has 3 separated
rectangular flues, the left one (for bedroom fireplace) probably added
C18. Chimney adjacent to right gable inserted within the frame.
Interior: Lobby-entrance plan with back-to-back inglenooks, somewhat
altered. Right and central rooms have ovolo oak beams, left room a
chamfered oak beam.
