II

Farmhouse, mid C17 origins but of early C19 appearance. Red brick in
Flemish Bond with old slate roof. 3 storeys. 3 bays with rear (west)
wing completing a "T" shaped plan. Six-panel partly glazed door in
pilastered doorcase with radial bar fanlight and open pediment.
2-and-3-light flush casements with flat cambered arches. There is an
original recessed sash, with glazing bars at the rear. Brick dentil
course at eaves. Bargeboards and gable-end stacks.
Interior: Chamfered beams and exposed ceiling joists. Large bevelled
beams in the rear wing. Four-panelled and boarded doors.
