Pair of Peckforton Estate Cottages, circa 1870. Red brick with tiled
roof. 2 storeys, l-bay each. The left-hand (west) house is gabled.
Boarded doors, in Tudor-arched openings, formed into vertical panels
by cover fillets and with false strap hinges. 2-and-3-light cast-iron
hexagonal pane casement windows, with cambered arches at ground floor
level. The south-west gable has shaped purlin ends and finial. Large
central stack, off weathered ridge level band, with keeled pilasters
and heavy overhanging cap.
