Farmhouse probably mid C17, substantially renovated and recased in
brick by the Arley estate later C19. English garden wall bond brown
brickwork; clay tile roof. 2 storeys; right wing of 2 rooms with
cross-gable of 2 storeys plus attic to left. Right wing has C19
gabled porch with 4-centred archway and oak-framed gable. C19
moulded brick mullioned openings contain small-pane casements.
Interior: Altered lobby-entrance plan. Oak bressumer to altered
inglenook; a stop-chamfered oak beam; stair replaced.
The farmhouse groups attractively with barn and shippon (q.v.) around
cobbled forecourt.
