Farmhouse, now house. Mid C19, with some later alterations. Slatestone and granite
rubble; painted front. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, with gable end
stacks, rendered to left and slate-hung to right.
Plan: Double depth plan, with central entrance and principal room to front left and
right; the room to right was the kitchen and the room to left the parlour. Unheated
dairy to rear left and scullery to rear right; stair well to rear centre.
Exterior: 2 storeys on plinth with band course, symmetrical 3-window front. First
floor has 12-pane sash with sidelights to right and left, central 12-pane sash.
Central gabled porch with triangular-headed outer opening, 12-pane sash with
sidelights to right and left. Right side has 16-pane sash at first floor right.
Left side painted, with external stack, ground floor to left a single light to the
dairy, first floor left 16-pane sash. Rear wall steps forward to the bays to left,
with 16-pane sash and door to scullery. To right, 2-light 10-pane casement with L
hinges lighting the stair at upper level, and 16-pane sash with granite lintel at
ground floor to right.
Interior: The central entrance hall has dog-leg stair to rear. Kitchen to front
right with roughly hewn granite lintel to fireplace and oven to left. Dairy to rear
left has slate floor and slate shelves.
